Resumo:
This paper records the results of an action research, whose main objective is to contribute to think strategies of reformulation of the work with literary reading in school through teacher mediation, contributing to the formation of literary readers of students of basic education. To this end, we proposed a dialogue between a novel considered classic in the Brazilian Romantic literature and a copy of the popularly called “pink” literature, which contains, despite the apparent narrative simplicity and careless poetic work of language. , elements that favor the taste for fiction and bring plot that comes close to the strategies of romantic romance. We start from the assumption that the school is a privileged place for the formation of the literary reader, offering him the necessary tools for the sensitive and intelligible apprehension of the order of pleasure and enjoyment. The challenge, however, lies in bringing students closer to basic education and the taste for the literary, when their attention seems to favor other modes of reading of a more accelerated and pragmatic nature. The activities presented and analyzed here were public school in the city of Imperatriz, southern Maranhão, and were based on studies on reading from the perspective of discursive semiotics, literary literacy and Brazilian literature.
