This report aims to describe the activities developed during the Supervised Curricular
Internship, developed at the FACIT Veterinary Hospital, from August 14 to October 25, 2023,
with a total of 400 hours, under the supervision of Veterinarian Fidelis Junior and guidance of
teacher Dr. Maria de Jesus Veloso Soares. During the internship, care was provided in medical
and surgical clinic and outpatient clinics. In addition to monitoring the evolution of hospitalized
patients. The data on the attendances and procedures monitored are arranged in the work in the
form of graphs and tables, for better understanding. In this report, a clinical-surgical case of
Canine Pyometra will also be reported and discussed. Case of a 3-year-old Shih-tsu dog,
complaining of prostration, intense weight loss and anorexia, in addition to recent heat and,
consequently, use of progestin. The treatment chosen was the most indicated, therapeutic
ovariohysterectomy.
