The objective of this work was to develop experimental activities based on
proposals for interventions with an interdisciplinary approach between the contents of
Chemistry and Biology, using an itinerant laboratory built with alternative materials of low
cost. The activities were carried out in two classes at the José do Patrocínio State School,
located in the Municipality of Macapá-AP, one control class (only theoretical class) and the
other experimental class (theoretical class plus practical activity), in partnership with two
teachers (one Chemistry and Biology). To subsidize the performance of interdisciplinary
activities, an alternative itinerant laboratory was built and to guide the proposals for
experimental classes, the experimental script was elaborated. Due to the COVID-19
pandemic, it was possible to remotely apply only the experiment, red cabbage as an acid-base
indicator. The analysis of the results was carried out through the applied questionnaires. The
experimental group showed a higher performance in relation to the control group, obtaining a
better assimilation between theory / practice. As for the interdisciplinary activity, the students
in the control class responded with indifference, a fact that can be explained by the nonperformance
of the experimental activity. Regarding the teachers' perception of the importance of experimental activities, both agreed that it arouses the student's interest in the
content taught in the theory. The proposal presented in this research obtained satisfactory
results, since the students were able to assimilate theory more clearly and objectively in
practice with an interdisciplinary approach. |
