Known as the science that intertwines man with his work environments, ergonomics is gaining more and more notoriety, being necessary for companies and their employees. Since it enables the generation of good results and a broad knowledge divided between its domains characterizing the application of methods to achieve improvements. In view of this, the following work proposes a postural study in teachers of public institutions of early childhood education in the municipality of Itacoatiara - AM, identifying postural ergonomic failures during the work routine and the discomforts generated through the use of ergonomic tools, using the Ovako Working Posture Analysing System (OWAS) methodology and the Diagram of Painful Areas, data were collected through the application of questionnaires, monitoring of activities and photographic records. After analyses, the results obtained were that most of the postures adopted fall into category 4 of level of action, which implies the need for urgent corrections so that the teachers do not suffer musculoskeletal problems and consequently acquire occupational diseases. Changes to the work cycle and organizational culture were suggested in order to establish a more ergonomic and safe working environment. |
