This work aimed to describe the price dynamics of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) and its supply in the Alto Solimões region, in the municipalities of Tonantins and Benjamin Constant. The analysis of prices practiced in the natural gas and Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) market is important to understand the factors that influence price formation, in addition to assisting in the development of public policies aimed at guaranteeing access to gas at fair prices and accessible. The methodological process was based on a quali-quantitative approach, with elements of exploratory research, using the technique of bibliographical research and a questionnaire as a research instrument. The results indicate that Benjamin Constant and Tonantins customers face challenges related to ensuring a continuous supply of LPG at affordable prices in their regions, especially in times of shortage or high demand. It is considered that price dynamics and gas supply in remote regions of the interior of the state of Amazonas is important to understand the factors that influence price formation, in addition to assisting in the development of public policies aimed at guaranteeing access to gas at fair and affordable prices. |
