Resumo:
This research aimed to take a survey of the quantitative and economic data on agricultural and livestock production in the agricultural colony of Matapi, located in the municipality of Porto Grande - Ap. The data were obtained through the application of socioeconomic and market forms applied fortnightly between the months of September to November off 2020 to the settlers. In total, 47 forms were applied, corresponding to 10% of properties registered with state and municipal agencies. All respondents agreed to participate in the research by signing the Informed Consent Form (ICF). With the information in hand, descriptive statistics, percentages and graphs were applied to represent the results. Orange production reached 1,215.8 t; pineapple 976.9 t; açaí 729.3 t and manioc 693.4 t that despite the low production, in 60% of agricultural production, cassava was the main income holder. There was an annual açaí production of 729.3 t, 710 kg of pulp, thus representing a positive asymmetric curve, kurtosis platykurtic and a 95% confidence level with an error of ± 202.48 kg of the production of unprocessed fruit. The area destined to permanent, temporary and pasture culture (natural, irrigated and cultivated) in total, is 137 ac, 48 ac and 443.8 ac, respectively. The livestock production in the colony corresponds mainly to the production of poultry, swine and cattle, in which its production is 1,273 birds, 95 pig heads and 234 bovine heads. The information explored descriptively was the production and processing of fruits, herd, patrimonial survey and improvements. Although data sampling has proved to be efficient in virtue of the sample population, further studies on the colony must be developed in order to generate a robust database.
