The elderly person's health booklet (CSPI) is an instrument for technical training and can contribute to institutional changes or orientation in the health service. Among the challenges of the implementation of the CSPI in the SUS, we highlight the lack of training and adherence by professionals, the lack of information about the booklet and difficulties to fill the professionals. Therefore, understanding how the training processes happen and what health professionals perceive in relation to CSPI in primary care can contribute to the formulation of new strategies for implementing this instrument. Therefore, this dissertation aimed to investigate the use of the booklet by health professionals as an instrument of technical training in the health care of the elderly in the municipality of Gurupi, TO. This is a cross-sectional descriptive observational study with a mixed (quanti-qualitative) approach. The sample consisted of 60 health professionals with bonds, in family health units. To obtain the data, a questionnaire consisting of open and closed questions was used, divided into three modules: the first with socio-economic and labor issues, the second with knowledge and difficulties of the professionals with the CSPI, and the third with Evaluation of teaching strategies in primary care. The results showed a heterogeneous process of implantation and utilization of the CSPI in the health units, some are in the process of implementation, but with training difficulties and others use the CSPI in the outdated version. We did not find in our municipality the implementation of the latest version of the instrument. Thus, we consider that there is a need for permanent discussions and trainings so that the workspaces are spaces for identifying professionals difficulties and exchanging knowledge, increasing the construction of knowledge and efficacy of Units to cope with the complexities of the elder. Os espaços de saúde como as UBS são considerados ambientes de ensino não formal. Reconhecer e valorizar o conhecimento prévio dos profissionais para analisar o que já se sabe e o que é necessário aprender para melhorar o cuidado integral da pessoa idosa tem sido alvo de pesquisas em ensino e saúde. A Caderneta de Saúde da Pessoa Idosa (CSPI) é um instrumento para a formação técnica e pode contribuir para mudanças institucionais ou de orientação no serviço de saúde. Dentre os desafios da implementação da CSPI no SUS destacamos a falta de capacitação e adesão por parte dos profissionais, a ausência de informações sobre a caderneta e dificuldades de preenchimento pelos profissionais. Portanto, compreender como acontecem os processos de formação e qual a percepção dos profissionais de saúde em relação à CSPI na Atenção Básica pode contribuir para formulação de novas estratégias de implementação desse instrumento. Por isso essa dissertação objetivou investigar a utilização da Caderneta pelos profissionais de saúde como instrumento de formação técnica na atenção à saúde do idoso no município de Gurupi, TO. Essa é uma pesquisa do tipo observacional descritiva transversal, com abordagem mista (quanti-qualitativa). A amostra foi composta por 60 profissionais de saúde com vínculo, em Unidades de Saúde da Família. Para obtenção dos dados foi utilizado um questionário composto por questões abertas e fechadas, dividido em 3 módulos: o primeiro com questões sócio econômicas e laborais, o segundo com conhecimentos e dificuldades dos profissionais com a CSPI, e o terceiro com avaliação das estratégias de ensino na Atenção Primária. Os resultados mostraram um processo heterogêneo de implantação e utilização da CSPI nas unidades de saúde, algumas estão em processo de implementação, porém com dificuldades de capacitação e outras utilizam a CSPI na versão desatualizada. Não encontramos em nosso município a implementação da versão mais recente do instrumento. Assim, consideramos que há necessidade de permanentes discussões e capacitações para que os espaços de trabalho sejam espaços para identificação das dificuldades dos profissionais e troca de saberes aumentando a construção de conhecimentos e eficácia das Unidades para lidar com as complexidades da pessoa idosa. 2019-09-17T11:54:35Z 2019-09-17T11:54:35Z 2019-08-05 RAMOS, Luiza Vargens.
