Resumo:
The neoliberal policy of the 1990s implemented in Latin American countries by the World Bank modified economic thinking in Latin America. This influenced the studies of the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean. In this context emerges the Zapatista National Liberation Army denouncing the economic interests of the United States and promoting another form of territorial development.
