Resumo:
Architecture is present in every aspect of our daily lives. And not only the cities and buildings that compose it, because architecture is not only a constructive factor, but also an expression of art. In this paper I will address one of these facets: Scenographic Architecture. The cinema has no certain point of its creation. Several inventions throughout human history have contributed to this birth. Nevertheless, the scenography, which has its origin as old as the theater itself, has become something present and is undoubtedly a very important element. Scenography is one of the aspects of architecture, and the form that is expressed is not only in the representations of the real world and its factors. The scenography goes far beyond, through the scenographic environment are expressed feelings and sensations that reaches the audience in a unique way, at a specific moment. From the beginning, cinema has always been linked with urban centers and their way of expressing their creators' imaginations about distant futures. The films discussed here were somehow important for the representation of architecture on the scene and led to important discussions regarding urbanism and the development of cities.
