Resumo:
The objective of this study was to evaluate use of the residue from the production of biofuels from sweet potato (Ipomoea batatas (Lam)) as a source of organic fertilizer in the formation of Brachiaria CONVERT HD 364 to replace the phosphorus chemistry. Therefore, we tested four treatments: SA: soil without phosphorus fertilizer; AQ: chemical phosphate fertilizers: AQ + Org: phosphate fertilizer + organic phosphate fertilizer chemical AOrg: organic phosphorus fertilization. Tillering showed similar results in treatment, emphasizing that it was stimulated by phosphate fertilization regardless of source, and the second nitrogen fertilization Laude (1972). Plant height differed among themselves for the different treatments, and the further development occurred in plants that received organic fertilization. The results showed a significant superiority of treatment residue application where there was sweet potato, providing greater biomass production, dry matter per hectare, as well as providing improvements in the chemical, physical and biological soil.
