This study, whose object refers to "Comedy and Laughter", is intertwined in the Human Formation and the Popular Comic Culture. In this way, it is a theme related to "Comedy and Laughter in the Religious Festivals of Boa Vista of Father João - the place of the" ridiculous "condition between the sacred and the profane. The general objective of the research was to analyze which and how the comic resources constitute the imaginary and the production of senses of the devotees in these celebrations. The production of the data took place through participant observations and dialogues during the celebration feasts of the catholic saints. The thesis defended is that in human relations the behaviors that permeate the religious environment in the confrontation between the sacred and the profane languages are crossed by comedy and laughter bringing the ridiculous condition of the devotees as a cherishing of the estrangement between the parties. Thus, part of the previous point of the staging and theatricalisation of popular religious culture and its comic and artistic characters. This work sought to deepen understandings as to the human formation of comics, which I will treat here as ridiculous. While the other works clarify the space and the actions of the festival and the artistic production involved in this context, this thesis sought to establish an analysis in a territory somewhat forgotten by the researches, that is, comedy, laughter and comics in the daily life of ordinary lives of subjects, still, not artists, that is, the human process of formation of the comic. Then the narratives of the subjects of this research brought the ridiculous condition of each devotee, who enters the sacred space without disturbing, thus slowing down the incursions of the profane in this environment. Laughter seems to be part of the environment, even though many deny it, others deny it, and so many others disown it, but they get involved and give themselves up to laughable. So, ridicule marks its place between the sacred and the profane. |
