The National Common Curricular Base suggests the teaching of Probability since the first
years of Elementary School, highlighting the importance of the theme for the integral
formation of the student as a citizen. Although it is observed in practice the frequent
teaching of Probability under the classical approach, the theme can be treated under several
approaches, and working with some of them simultaneously can be essential for a better
understanding and mastery of the probabilistic contents. In this sense, this dissertation
has as main objective to present to teachers and other interested parties a possibility for
the teaching of Probability under the frequentist approach through simulations carried out
in the RStudio software. To this end, the results of a documentary analysis that mainly
highlights the history of Probability throughout human evolution and the recommendations
of official documents that regulate Basic Education are presented. Subsequently, the main
concepts and definitions related to the teaching of Probability under the two approaches
are highlighted, in addition to providing the necessary support for conducting simulations
in RStudio, necessary for the frequentist approach to Probability. Finally, resolutions of
some problems of textbooks of Elementary and Secondary Education in the state education
system of Tocantins are presented, under the classical and frequentist approaches, the
latter, with the help of Rstudio. With this, it is intended that this work serves as a basis
for lesson planning and development of other works, so that better results in the process of
teaching and learning Probability are obtained through the diversification of pedagogical
practice. |
