The launch of domestic sewage without treatment or only partially treated, containing organic load and nutrients promote eutrophication in bodies receptors, causing health problems, ecological, economic and social. Improve the existing conventional technology and develop new effluent treatment systems is necessary. The water bodies classification and release grant use of water resources present as instruments of environmental planning, integrating the aspects of quality and quantity of water system in the river basin. The enforcement of environmental legislation, in answer to the patterns of launch of effluents in surface water is essential for the conservation of water resources. In this context, this work had as objective to analyze the individual performance of two sewage treatment station of the municipality of Palmas, with treatment processes and different sizes to meet the conditions of concession by the use of water and framing of bodies of water bodies receivers. It held the diagnosis and analysis of performance of two Palmas sewage treatment station. In this way, it was possible to understand, in greater depth, operation, behavior and performance of these stations. Monitoring data were used by the Sanitation State of Tocantins, SANEATINS, in the year of 2015, together with operational release flow data. The results obtained allowed to propose/suggesting alternatives of improvements in the operation of the system for the treatment of sanitary sewage to the sewage treatment station Aureny and Prata, aiming to conditions of concession of launching and framing of hydric body together with the improvement of the quality of the effluent in Ribeirão Taquarussu and Córrego Prata. The sewage treatment station Aureny presents an effluent with average results of removal efficiency of 73, 93%, in 2015. The sewage treatment station Prata presents an effluent with average results of removal efficiency of 61.04%. Performance analysis of the two sewage treatment station studied was held to identify the deficiencies and evaluate the efficiency of plants through collection and analysis of information such as monitoring data and operational data. It is concluded that the Ribeirão Taquaruçu, body of the sewage treatment station Aureny receiver, satisfies the requirements of the CONAMA 357/05, classified as body receiver of class 1 and 2. Already the Córrego Prata, body of the sewage treatment station Prata receiver, classified in classes 2 and 3, sometimes even in Class 4.
