In this analysis we will seek to understand how indigenous peoples are represented in the historical narrative around the colonization process and in the period before the arrival of Europeans in lands of what would become Brazil, observing mainly the cultural aspects, their struggles, resistances and history. Esse trabalho tem por objetivo apresentar como os indígenas são abordados, a partir da lei n° 11.645/08, em três livros didáticos do ensino médio aprovados pelo Plano Nacional do Livro Didático- PNLD de 2014, analisando a parte escrita e as imagens.
