This research seeks to work on the concept of individualist anarchism and its development
in the philosophy of some anarchist theorists, with an emphasis on individualist anarchist
philosopher Henry David Thoreau, and the approximation of this concept to the thinking
of Friedrich Wilhelm Nietzsche who, despite being a critic of anarchism, presented in all
its philosophy, conceptions that harmonize with the individualist ideal of anarchism. With
this objective, we seek to carry out a bibliographic research that, despite exhausting the
subject, could fulfill the purpose of realizing this parallel of ideas. From this
methodology, we were able to identify some points of convergence between the
individualist anarchist movement, in its aim of seeking the autonomy and freedom of
man, and Nietzsche's libertarian and individualist purposes.
