Using the probabilistic method to integrate heterogeneous data sources is very useful to find the same person in different databases. National health information systems have been independently developed and do not contain a unique identifier that enables direct relationships between databases. To improve and correct statistics aimed at improving how the government acts on behalf of the population, there is a need for quality infor mation. In the present work, Probabilistic Relationship methods were used to integrate the Notification Disease Information System (Sinan) and Mortality Information System (SIM) databases. From the intersection of the data, 28 and 40 records related to HIV related deaths in the periods 2007-2009 and 2015-2018, respectively, were found. Besides, hypotheses were raised about the results obtained, and the low data quality of these systems was diagnosed in terms of completeness, consistency, and reliability.
