Resumo:
This research had as objective to analyze the challenges faced by the students of the field that use school transport in the municipality of Monte Alegre de Goiás and its influence on the process of teaching and learning. This study is based on a bibliographic research and field with the qualitative approach, in which it seeks to develop arguments and explanations of a problematization The theoretical foundation gave himself with bases in authors, such as: Caldart (2008); Creswell; Gil (2002, 2008, 2010); Fonseca (2002); Lakatos; Marconi (2010) Feijo (2008); Freitas; Battezzati (2018); Bortoni-Ricardo (2008); Barroso; Demetrio; Furtado (2008) among others. The instruments of data for the generation with the questionnaires were carried out with 05(five) students 01 (a) professor at the municipal network and 01(a) driverof the Route 01 (a) municipal network manager, having a total of 08 (eight) participants. In addition to the observation made along the route of the Mendes/Ebb, during the implementation of activities arising from this course. In this way, the data collected had their analysis from the perspective of theoreticians who to and fro on the subject, thus enabling, theresponses of the objective of this research. The results collected showed that the school transport the route Mendes/Vazante presents difficulties limited to long and tiring travel, without counting the conditions of poor conservation of the vehicle, the lack of transport as a result of the maintenance and damage to the vehicle, but also the shortage and lack of passthrough that keeps the program of school transport. Such situations, which have an influence on the academic performance of the student, because it hinders the performance, in addition to the consecutive absences due to failures of relevant school transport through the constant breaks. It is perceived that the difficulties are great, yet the administration responsible for school transport seeks at all costs the maximum permanence of school transportation on the routes that the municipality offer. Therefore, the survey sought to elucidate the aspects of school transport, since the public policies of the school transport, untilthe conditional reality of the municipality in question, aiming to contribute to discussions on the Field Education and school transport, more precisely, the school transport in the municipality of Monte Alegre de Goiás.
