Resumo:
Today one of the most costly parts in conducting an area cultivated with any crop of interest be it pastures or large crops such as soybeans, is the control of weeds. Which can cause damage of up to 90% in the cultivated area. The soil weed seed bank is the main supplier of propagules that will give rise to new plants in different types of environments. The present work aimed to evaluate the influence of the chemical pesticide Glyphosate on the germination of the soil seed bank. Six treatments with five replicates were evaluated for the study. The plots were made of wood, the soil was collected homogeneously at a depth of up to 5 cm, were deposited in equal amounts in the plots and irrigated until they reached the field capacity. To conduct the work, a completely randomized experimental design was chosen, with regression analysis with 5% significance. The results obtained were significant because they differed from each other, since there was a significant increase in germination as a function of the different doses. And through the results obtained it is concluded that the product has influence on the germination of seeds present in the natural soil bank.
