With this, it is extremely necessary that there be a plan or project with the intention of restoring these areas, it was maintaining their biodiversity and ecological balance. This work had the objective of elaborating a Plan for the Recovery of Degraded Area (PRDA) in rural property located in the municipality of Lagoa da Confusão, State of Tocantins, and it belonging to the Cerrado Biome. The study was based on a permanent preservation area of 5.76 ha, in a state of degradation, because it was used for agricultural activities, located at Fazenda São João. All the necessary steps were list to prepare the recovery project, which included : evaluation of degraded areas, opening of pits and crowning, and revegetation of the area under study. The technique chosen to effect the recovery of the degraded area was of enrichment of seedlings and dense planting, to restore the diversity, structure of the forest, to accelerate the succession and to make it more attractive the fauna. A total of 19 native species were selected and their ecological group (i.e.: pioneer, initial secondary), tolerance to soil moisture, their occurrence and attractiveness to fauna. Some examples of these species are: laranjinha do cerrado, vermelhão, jenipapo, buriti, mari-mari, amescla, among others. The time required to implement the plan is 10 months until the final monitoring / follow-up phase. The success of PRDA will bring several benefits to the environment, such as soil stabilization and fertility, preservation of water resources and increased interspecific relationships. Com o passar dos anos, a degradação ambiental vem ocorrendo de maneira acelerada, ocasionando diversos danos ao meio ambiente, tais como, fragmentação de hábitats, erosão dos solos, extinção da biodiversidade, degradação de ecossistemas e modificações climáticas. Com isso é extremamente necessário que haja um plano/projeto com o intuito de restaurar essas áreas, mantendo a sua biodiversidade e equilíbrio ecológico. Este trabalho teve como objetivo elaborar um Plano de Recuperação de Área Degradada (PRAD) em propriedade rural localizada no município de Lagoa da Confusão, Estado do Tocantins, e que pertence ao Bioma Cerrado. O estudo teve como base uma área de preservação permanente com 5,76 ha, em estado de degradação, por ter sido utilizada com atividades agrícolas, localizada na Fazenda São João. Foram listadas todas as etapas necessárias para a elaboração do projeto de recuperação que incluem: avaliação das áreas degradadas, abertura de covas e coroamento, e revegetação da área em estudo. A técnica escolhida para efetuar a recuperação da área degradada foi de enriquecimento com mudas e plantio adensado, para restaurar a diversidade, estrutura da floresta, acelerar a sucessão e torná-la mais atrativa a fauna. Foram selecionadas 19 espécies nativas, sendo observado seu grupo ecológico (exemplo: pioneira, secundária inicial), tolerância a umidade do solo, sua ocorrência e a atratividade a fauna, tais como; laranjinha do cerrado, vermelhão, jenipapo, buriti, mari-mari, amescla, entre outras. O tempo necessário para a implantação do plano é de 10 meses até a fase de monitoramento/acompanhamento finais.
