Resumo:
The objective of the present work was the production, evaluation and physical and mechanical characterization of panels composed of cement and lignin in order to compare them with panels commonly produced aiming at the possibility of their production on a commercial scale and with this the reutilization of residues produced in large amounts. The lignin was made available by the Suzano Pulp and Paper industry, located in Limeira in the state of São Paulo and the pinus collected in local industries, municipality of Gurupi-TO. Apparent density (g/cm³), axial compressive strength (MPa) and absorption (%) were evaluated for the characterization of the panels. For the preparation of the specimens Portland cement type II (CP II), water, pine and lignin particles and a synthetic additive were used. The pine was subjected to the particle milling and drying process at 8.0% moisture and the lignin was used in the form of particles with 4.6% moisture. After the cement mortar was ready, it was placed in molds made according to NBR 5738 (2003) and D-1037 (1999), and subjected to mechanical vibration compaction. Four treatments were used to make the panels: T1- Cement and Pinus; T2- Cement, Pinus and Lignin; T3- Cement and Lignin and T4 Cement and sand (control). With data generated, the same were submitted to the Bartlett programs to analyze the normality of the variances, Shapiro-Wilk test to test the data normality, Box Cox for data that did not present normality and for statistical analyzes and interaction of the factors used o Sisvar 5.6
