The research aims to interpret the cosmologies existing on their small farms, and the intimacy with “child plants”, distinctive of the Apinajé’s agriculture. Starting from a strategic perspective about a specific village - the Brejinho village - we seek to comprehend the cycle of the farm and the relationship between mother and daughter established on the small farm. From a historical perspective of relationship with plants, attributed cosmologies and the recognition of agro-biodiversity on the small farms, as well as the traditional knowledge attributed to them. Este trabalho trata da relação existente entre as plantas cultivadas na roça e os indígenas Apinajé, grupo Jê-Timbira do Cerrado do Tocantins. A pesquisa busca interpretar a cosmologia existente referente aos roçados e à intimidade com as plantas-filha, característica da agricultura Apinajé.
