Resumo:
The order Hymenoptera has a wide diversity of insects, being known 153,000 described species. These insects occupy a huge variety of habitats and play various ecological functions, ranging from parasitoids of solitary life to pollinators living in colonies with extreme social complexity. Hymenopterans are divided into two suborders: Symphyta and Apocrita. Within Apocrita, the taxa that have the ovipositor modified in a stinger are grouped in the Infraorder Aculeata, which comprises three superfamilies: Apoidea, Chrysidoidea and Vespoidea. The objective of this work is to perform a faunistic inventory, quantifying the families of Aculeata and producing a listing at the lowest possible taxonomic level of specimens collected at the Canguçu Research Center (CPC). The material from CPC collections was sorted, mounted and identified. As the main result of this work, an inventory of the Aculeata from the CPC was produced, which, in addition to expanding the knowledge on the Hymenoptera diversity of the State of Tocantins, contributed to the increase of the collection of the order in the Collection of Entomology of UFT (CEUFT).
