The objective is to discuss the contributions of this imaginary to a creative process in hybrid scene practices and to the maintenance of traditions in the community. The methodological path, inserted in the context of teacher education, is autobiographical and investigative, including bibliographic research, field research and a poetic exercise linked to local culture. Placing the prayer of São Sebastião and its contexts as a place of knowledge that can be appreciated, consulted and analyzed, the work contributes to the dialogue between ancestry and the teachings of the theater and, to the extent of the scope of the proposal, for the strengthening of actions in the direction of the National Curriculum Guidelines for the Education of Ethnic-Racial Relations and for the Teaching of Afro-Brazilian and African History and Culture. O presente trabalho aborda a reza de São Sebastião e o altar dos santos, conforme vivências culturais na comunidade quilombola de Barra do Aroeira, município de Santa Tereza-TO. O objetivo é discutir sobre as contribuições desse imaginário para um processo criativo em práticas híbridas de cena e para a manutenção das tradições na comunidade. O caminho metodológico, inserido no contexto da formação docente, é autobiográfico e investigativo, incluindo pesquisa bibliográfica, pesquisa de campo e um exercício poético ligado à cultura local. Colocando a reza de São Sebastião e seus contextos como lugar de saber possível de ser apreciado, consultado e analisado, o trabalho contribui para o diálogo entre a ancestralidade e os ensinos do teatro e, na medida do alcance da proposta, para o fortalecimento de ações na direção das Diretrizes Curriculares Nacionais para a Educação das Relações Étnico-Raciais e para o Ensino de História e Cultura Afro-Brasileira e Africana. 2021-11-30T18:26:30Z 2021-11-30T18:26:30Z 2021 Monografia PINTO, Ronalda Rodrigues.
