The importance of the measurement instruments to the technological advance is
unquestionable. In the context of electricity, the measurements of certain unit of measure are
essential, once they result in necessary information to the definition of researches, monitoring,
safety, protection and control of equipment. The instruments FLUKE 345, FLUKE 1738,
TEKTRONIX THS3024 and WAVEBOOK/516, available at the circuits and electrical
machines laboratory of the Electrical Engineering course, at the Federal University of Tocantins
(UFT), they are devices of great importance to the development of learning, research and
extension.
The main point of this work is to realize measurements, using the four instruments mentioned
simultaneously and compare the obtained results with the data of the equipment manuals
provide by the manufactories. The results will be compared and discussed throughout work,
pointing deviations, errors, precision, accuracy, resolution and sensitivity, considering a
specific instrument as reference.
