The present course conclusion work has as elements to verify how the theme of the impacts of sexual
violence in the school life of child victims is treated in the scientific literature. The general objective of
this work was to understand how research addresses the impacts of sexual violence on school life and
on the learning of child victims, in scientific publications in academic journals, in course conclusion
papers, dissertations and in government documents. bibliographic and documental analysis. We assume
as theoretical guidance the contributions of Freud (2002), Ribeiro (2017), Camargo and Ribeiro (1998),
Brino and Williams (2008), Amazarray and Koller (1998), Dell'aglio (2008), Rodrigues (2017), Nedeff
(2001). The bibliographic research was carried out through the survey of articles, books, theses and
dissertations in the Scientific Electronic Library Online (SCIELO) and Google Scholar (Google Aca-
demic) databases. The document analysis was carried out in the same way, with information on legal
aspects, official data, forms of prevention, protection and what to do in case of child sexual violence.
This stage aimed to examine documents from the legislation on sexual violence in children. The first
search of the research in scientific databases, using the keywords: childhood and sexuality, child sexu-
ality, sexual abuse, child sexual violence, which located 972 articles. After the first selection of works,
486 studies that were not written in Portuguese were eliminated. In a second moment, we read the ab-
stracts of the selected material and excluded 380 articles that did not address the research topic. Then,
we read the remaining 106 articles in full, in order to know the research carried out. After this more
detailed study, 73 articles dealing with violence were excluded, but were not related to the topic ad-
dressed in this research. Thus, 33 publications were chosen, which addressed topics such as sexuality,
sexual education, sexual violence and impacts on learning in this work. The selected works were two
master's dissertations and 31 articles published in 27 journals of publications in various areas of
knowledge, ten publications in Psychology journals, eight in Nursing, seven in Education, three in
Health, one in Pediatrics and one in Service Social. The selected publications involved 80 authors from
different institutions, most of them public universities. However, we note that the impacts of violence
on the learning of child victims is still a topic little discussed in research, even in the area of education,
which may explain the difficulties faced by teachers in dealin, with this issue, which is very common in
our society. various social factors |
