Resumo:
This report describes the activities developed during the mandatory curricular internship, the last course taken to complete the veterinary medicine course at the Federal University of Tocantins (UFT). It lasted 424 hours, and was carried out in the area of veterinary medical assistance in bovine reproduction, with activities mostly focused on the development of IATF protocols and gestational diagnoses, activities of great importance for the professional training of the academic and future doctor. vet. In order to achieve better reproductive rates within the IATF, the establishment of hormonal protocols for this purpose is sought, with the use of GnRH on the day of insemination as an ovulation inducer, a protocol studied for this purpose. Two synthetic analogs of GnRH were evaluated to Lecirelin at a dose of 25mg / animal and Buserelin 10 mcg / animal, in different categories of females of reproductive age: heifer, primiparous and multiparous as ovulation inducer in animals that did not manifest estrus. Statistical data were evaluated using the SAS® system using the chi-square test and submitted to significance analysis using Fisher's exact 2x2 factorial.
