This paper talks about “Life Project and Youth Protagonism” as a curricular component in the
reform of High School in the State Department of Education of Tocantins. The discussion is
essentially about the controversies involving this theme as a curricular component. The
objective of this work was to get know the limitations and possibilities of “Life Project and
Youth Protagonism” as a curricular component. The investigation was based on the concept
of autonomy as a socio historical praxis based on the authors Marx, Gramsci, Saviane,
Libaneo, Freire . The methodological procedures adopted were bibliographic and documental
research. The investigation showed that the “Life Project and Youth Protagonism” is
characterized as a transversal theme reasoned in the BNCC and not as a curricular component.
Therefore, it is recommended that SEDUC review this decision and adopt the theme into the
scope of integrative projects in the areas of knowledge in the perspective of emancipation and
social individual autonomy. |
