The research question that guides this TCC is: how are social relations, between Apinajé and non- indigenous people, established in football games in the city of Tocantinópolis - TO? For the development of this research, the qualitative methodology of case study and the techniques of Participant Observation and Interview were used. The interviews were carried out with two indigenous players, under the supervision of the advisor, on the university campus of UFT in Tocantinópolis - TO. While the participant observations were carried out following the “Copa Indígena” championship, in the visits of the games in the villages and in the city. Based on the observations and analysis of the interviews, we understand that the relationships between Apinajé indigenous people and non-indigenous people established in football matches are permeated by superficial bonds of friendship in the football context. In addition, it was identified that the analytical concept of Interethnic Friction (OLIVEIRA, 1967), which appears in the hypothesis in the research, does not apply in the present case study, while Ethno-sport (FASSHEBER, 2006) has in force in the Apinajé's football sports practice, because through it Apinajé players apply a re-signification of culture, moral, ethical and identity values. Este Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso tem como objetivo descrever como - a partir da prática do futebol – indígenas Apinajé e não indígenas, relacionam-se na cidade de Tocantinópolis. A pergunta de pesquisa que orienta este TCC é: de que forma as relações sociais, entre Apinajé e não indígenas, são estabelecidas nos jogos de futebol na cidade de Tocantinópolis – TO? Para o desenvolvimento dessa pesquisa foram utilizadas a metodologia qualitativa de estudo de caso e as técnicas de Observação Participante e Entrevista. As entrevistas foram feitas com dois jogadores indígenas, com a supervisão da orientadora, no campus universitário da UFT de Tocantinópolis – TO. Enquanto as observações participantes foram realizadas acompanhando o campeonato “Copa Indígena”, nas visitas dos jogos nas aldeias e na cidade. Com base nas observações e nas análises das entrevistas compreendemos que as relações entre indígenas Apinajé e não indígenas estabelecidas nos jogos de futebol são permeadas por vínculos superficiais de amizade no contexto futebolístico. Além disso, identificou-se que o conceito analítico de Fricção Interétnica (OLIVEIRA, 1967), que consta na hipótese na pesquisa, não se aplica no presente estudo de caso, ao passo que o Etno-desporto (FASSHEBER, 2006) tem vigorado na prática esportiva futebolística dos Apinajé, pois através do mesmo os jogadores Apinajé aplicam ressignificação da cultura, dos valores morais, éticos e da identidade. 2023-01-26T13:46:14Z 2023-01-26T13:46:14Z 2021-12-13 Monografia Luciano Dias.
