In the organizational environment, there are important points for the success of a company,
among them are planning, control, and evaluation. As time went by, the development of the
idea of strategic management gained more and more strength, so, in order to help management,
techniques were created to support the management, known as quality tools, used more and
more nowadays. Among these tools, the PDCA cycle and the Ishikawa Diagram are part of
these techniques created to help management. The study aims to analyze the use of these two
tools to help management, besides identifying at which points they can be used and describing
these situations. The methodology used was bibliographic and documental research, searching
in the literature for the main concepts that involve management, as well as the application of
these tools and the results obtained by them.
