This Mandatory Curricular Internship Report in Veterinary Medicine describes the
activities carried out in the area of clinical, surgery and reproduction of large animals
during the period from August 15 to October 27, 2022, under the supervision of the
veterinarian Magno da Silva Reis who operates in rural properties in Araguaína -
Tocantins and region. The report presents the internship location, the activities
carried out and the casuistry followed. During the internship, it was possible to
monitor 1,118 procedures in cattle and horses, of which 1,020 procedures were
related to reproduction. The area of animal reproduction represented 89% of the
visits, with gestational diagnosis and artificial insemination being the main procedures
followed. The medical clinic accounted for 9% of visits, with the largest number being
dental procedures. In addition, activities related to the surgical clinic were monitored,
which represented 3% of the cases treated, with herniorrhaphy and orchiectomy
