A deeper study on urban landscape subject is necessary to achieve a better theoretical
knowledge about it as it represents the past and the present, both in the same context of its
cultural, social, natural, political and economic factors. The interest of studying the subject in
the city of Palmeiras of Tocantins – TO rises from the need to work on the opinion of its
residents, since it is of utmost importance, because we will have a sense of how they perceive
their city, how they feel about it, their desires and opinions based on their experience. To get
the ideas that guide the interests of society it is essential developing a methodology focused
on the field of study with questionnaires, which were applied to the population, thereby
acquiring information that had been analyzed from an empirical experience on the subject.
