The Mandatory Supervised Curricular Internship was carried out at the Veterinary Hospital of the School of Veterinary and Zootechnics of the Federal University of Goiás, Campus Samambaia in Goiânia, Goiás during the period from August 15 to October 27, 2022, totaling 390 hours. Internal supervision was carried out by the Veterinarian, Doctor Patrícia Lorena Neves Guimarães and under the guidance of Professor Doctor Maria de Jesus Veloso Soares. During this period, 61 outpatient procedures, 136 consultations and 41 surgeries in dogs and cats were followed. This report aims to describe the activities carried out, such as consultation follow-up, vaccinations, collection of biological materials, hospitalizations and surgeries, describing the routine of clinical care and surgical procedures performed during the internship period. In addition, this report addresses the case of a canine, 5 years old, male, mixed breed, weighing 8 kg, diagnosed with Cervical Intervertebral Disc Disease (Hansen type I) and surgically treated by dorsolateral hemilaminectomy.
