Resumo:
The biographical approach made through memories and narratives of life histories of the old workers of the Cimba factory is a found form of approximation about the interpersonal relations between individual and society, as well as a connection between the present and the past. That is, is to go through a close establishing the theoretical-methodological important recovery of the dynamics that involve social relations. The study of the stories and memories of a life refers to socio-historical processes that encompass the lived reality. In narrating a little of their life, the subjects draw symbolic logics, reporting their experiences through socio-affective looks of memories. The question addressed in this paper refers to the way in which work was developed in the factory, the established labor relationship, the bosses' dominance of factory owners, their subordination and power over employees, the fame of the good luck brothers and the myths about the factory. By epoch the factory was famous in other states for offering work and many were brought to the city by the hope of the conquest of lands in the pioneer front, besides being employed in the Cimba. In this way, many workers came and went to work in Cimba, or in the properties of the owners of the factory, because the work of the factory began there on the farm or in the cocais as in the production of soap Coco Babaçu, or in the production of products for the civil construction. The reports of the ex-workers were essential to know through them a little of the history about the factory and consequently the whole relation of the employees with that means feverish.
