The following work shows the application of the mathematical content of Reason and
Proportion interdisciplinary with Music. Seeking the understanding of the fractional relations
that originated the first musical scale in Western Music, researching the history of music and
mathematics, in order to know the beginning of the relationship between Mathematics and
Music. With the following question, how did the construction of the Pythagorean Scale take
place? The same was structured with a mixture of researches, adopting the strategy of reading
books, articles, dissertations and theses. To the conclusion that one can work the mathematics
with other areas of knowledge, making comprehensible the applicability of some mathematical
contents. |
