Resumo:
Studies indicate that aquatic environments can be used for various purposes such as water supply, power generation, irrigation, navigation, aquaculture, landscaping, etc. There are large water reservoirs in Brazil, such as the UHE Luiz Eduardo Magalhães – UHE Lajeado, located on the Tocantins River in the state of Tocantins. In 2015, aquaculture parks were installed at UHE Lajeado, providing an increase in the potential of fish production in net cages. In this context, with the advance of fish production in net cages in Union waters, it is necessary to monitor the production environment so that water quality is monitored along the cultivation line, so that the production happens in a sustainable way. The production in net cages brings environmental concerns in relation to the eutrophication of water that can be caused by the excretion of fish fecal and accumulation of feed, which are rich in phosphorus. Within this context, this work seeks to evaluate the degree of trophy of the environment with aquaculture activity of production system in net cages, located in the UHE Lajeado Reservoir – Palmas/TO, specifically in the Sucupira Aquaculture Park, in the dry and rainy seasons of 2019 and 2020, using the Trophic State Index – EIT as a parameter, as it becomes an accessible and effective tool for producers.
