This work aims to describe the activities developed throughout the stage, and reports a case of Leptospirosis in a canine SRD, caused by bacteria of the genus Leptospira, being considered a zoonosis. The supervised curricular traineeship was carried out at the Veterinary Hospital of the Federal University of Goiás (HV-UFG) during the period from March 11, 2019 to May 23, 2019, from Monday to Friday with an eight-hour workload 400 hours, under the supervision of Dr. Apóstolo Ferreira Martins, in the areas of Medical Clinic and Surgical Small Animals. During the period of the internship, the routine of the Medical and Surgical Clinic of the HV was monitored from weighing, anamnesis and physical examination of the patients, sampling for complementary examinations, referrals to the diagnostic imaging sector, outpatient procedures, evolution of hospitalized patients and assistance to surgical procedures, from preoperative to postoperative, always supervised by the Veterinarian or Resident Veterinarian scaled for the day, during the periods of screening or care.
