Resumo:
The present work proposes the elaboration of potentially significant teaching units (UEPS’s) combined with the methodology of the three pedagogical moments (3MP) in order to support the teaching-learning process of selected topics of Modern and Contemporary Physics (FMC), in particular the materials semiconductors and their main application: Solar cells and panels. This approach aims to contribute to a teaching-learning process closer to the student’s reality, contextualized and well structured, thus consisting of a proposal that dares to contribute to the improvement of Physics teaching in the way it is currently performed. To this end, relevant resources were used, such as computer simulators and assisted experiments using the Arduino platform, in order to enrich the teaching-learning process. The educational product from the research was applied to a third year high school class. At the end of the application process of the educational product, the objective of offering Physics classes that, with a focus on significant learning, contribute to the scientific training of students was achieved.
