This research aims to understand the practices and knowledge about agriculture that were
throughout the creation of the community of Barrinha, formed by small farmers, located
in the city of São Félix do Tocantins, region of Jalapão-TO. The community is rich in
memories and stories that establish important and fundamental links about the cultural
origins of this community. This work has as its main idea, to recover the memories about
the ways of working with agriculture used in the first practices of the residents of the
Barrinha community. In this way, the objectives are aimed at identifying the ways and
social practices developed in the existing relationship between men and women over
historical time. The present work is based on a bibliographical analysis, as well as oral
reports that allow us to understand the memories about the forms of agriculture that were
used in the first practical practices in Barrinha. Both the theoretical bibliography and the
life stories bring elements that underlie the places of memories, present in this community
of small farmers in the year 2022. |
