Resumo:
In order to investigate and foster the study of prepositions and their semantic relations, an intervention was carried out concerning the field research project with students from the public school system, especially with the 72.01 (7th grade) class of Elementary School, enrolled in the State School of São José Operário in Paraíso do Tocantins. Initially, the intervention research centered on the history of the evolution of writing in order to raise awareness of its importance for recording thoughts and ideas that significantly contributed to the evolution of humanity. A study is then made of the origin of grammar and some ramifications, including the emergence of prepositions. Subsequently, in line with the main purpose of the research, it discusses the process of comprehension and semantic studies. It follows also the didactic sequence used as methodology in the accomplishment of the activities. An analysis of the prepositions in line with several interventional activities based on the comic strips of the Boy Maluquinho, by the author Ziraldo, with an aim of enabling learning in a playful and pleasurable way, is also excluded. And usually at the end, the result obtained, always intended for teaching the semantics of prepositions by deepening in the immaterial. In addition, it is clarified the need for the intellectual transformation of the child leaving the explicit and perceptible universe for immersion in the adventurous and abstract world of the intellectual ways that awaken the knowledge of intrinsic situations being vital and primordial for learning.
