The work aimed to analyze the tourist activity in the Chapada das Mesas National Park in the
city of Carolina – MA. Based on a bibliographic review of the topic, using qualitative method
and a descriptive research of the local landscape, addressing transformations caused by anthropic agents. The study of the use of tourist activity as income generation, improvements in the
infrastructure of the city: paving of the streets, communication network, transport, food, hotel.
In addition to the analysis of the use of the Conservation Unit as tourism, its negative and positive points. |
