Resumo:
Experimentation can be one of the paths that provides the foundation for motivation and interest in the Physics subject, in order to positively influence learning. For this reason, it is important to be practiced and developed in schools. This study aims to demonstrate the improvement of the learning process through experimental practices in electrical circuits in the context of practical Physics classes, through the Intelligent Tutorial System (ITS) and the Physics Education Technology Project (PETP). The work was developed in a public school in the city of Arraias, Tocantins, in two classes from the 3rd grades (33:01 and 33:02) with a total of 26 high school students studying Physics, in the computer laboratory and in classroom. Demonstrations of alternative experiments (model) were carried out with the PETP Simulator, and also through questionnaires that were administered before and after the experimental demonstration. Data collection favored an analysis of students' prior knowledge as well as the formation of new opinions and contributions to teaching and learning. Experiments provoke in the student the development of the ability to see, to wonder at the world, to ask questions and to think, by making experimental activities configured not as an “object” of teaching, but as an integral part of the construction of knowledge.
