This research aims to demonstrate the effectiveness of fractal geometry in constructing planar figures with geometric progressions, seeking to enhance the understanding and teaching of these mathematical concepts to 2nd-year high school students. To achieve this objective, pedagogical methods integrating fractal geometry were developed and implemented, presenting concepts in a visual and intuitive manner. The study also analyzes the impact of this approach on students’ academic performance in Mathematics, with a special focus on understanding geometric pro- gressions. The effectiveness of the instructional sequence was assessed through empirical data collection on student performance and perception. Results indicate that using fractal geome- try facilitates the visualization of mathematical concepts, increases student engagement, and improves understanding of geometric progressions. The instructional sequence demonstrated significant potential to contribute to the development of fundamental mathematical concepts and to stimulate students’ curiosity and interest in Mathematics. Ultimately, the research highlighted that even basic mathematical content holds substantial relevance in everyday life and can be taught in a visual and interactive way.
