This article aims to analyze two works by João Guimarães Rosa: the novel “Campo Geral”,
featured in Corpo de Baile, and the short story “As margins of joy”, contained in Primeiras
Estórias. In this segment, it aims to observe how the author exposes living nature in a genuine
flash, and how the children's characters discover the world and make a crossing within
themselves, in a poetic and unique way, since childhood is a period of full and fairy-like
experiences. Furthermore, Rosa invites the reader to see the new so many things that go
unnoticed in the frenzy of everyday life, because only with apprentice eyes is personal renewal
achieved. |
