To answer this question, we aimed to understand which mathematics the settlers use during the flour production process. The research in question was developed in the Baviera Settlement Project, located in the municipality of Aragominas, state of Tocantins, based on a qualitative approach anchored in ethnography and using observation techniques and narrative interviews, so that together with the participants we could describe their practices in dealing with everything from land preparation to the marketing of cassava flour. To this end, we sought to carry out readings in the field of Ethnomathematics, in order to broaden our views and reflections on how mathematical knowledge occurs in the rural context of small producers, in this case, of cassava flour. Through this research, it was noticed that during the flour making process, producers mobilize an informal Mathematics that has a relationship with school Mathematics, particularly with area contents, unit of measurement magnitudes, basic fundamental operations and the rule of three simple ones, which they use during all stages of the process. Este estudo foi desenvolvido por meio de uma investigação acerca da produção de farinha na perspectiva Etnomatemática, de modo a questionar: quais matemáticas são mobilizadas pelos produtores de farinha do Projeto de Assentamento Baviera? Para respondermos a essa questão objetivamos compreender quais matemáticas os assentados mobilizam durante o processo de produção da farinha. A pesquisa em questão foi desenvolvida no Projeto de Assentamento Baviera, localizado no município de Aragominas, estado do Tocantins, a partir da abordagem qualitativa ancorada na etnografia e recorrendo as técnicas de observação e entrevistas narrativas, para que junto aos participantes pudéssemos descrever as suas práticas em lidar desde o preparo do terreno à comercialização da farinha de mandioca. Para tanto, buscou-se realizar leituras no campo da Etnomatemática, para ampliarmos os nossos olhares e reflexões sobre como ocorre o conhecimento matemático em contexto rural de pequenos produtores, em caso, de farinha de mandioca. Por meio dessa pesquisa, percebeu-se que durante processo de feitura da farinha os produtores mobilizam uma Matemática informal que tem uma relação com a Matemática escolar, particularmente com os conteúdos de área, unidade de grandezas de medidas, operações fundamentais básicas e a regra de três simples, que os mesmos fazem uso durante todas as etapas do processo. 2025-01-21T11:41:37Z 2025-01-21T11:41:37Z 2023-07-11 Monografia SOUSA, Kalyta Gabriela Coelho.
