At the end of the twentieth century the conditions of environment, health and safety at work come to be understood as essential guarantees for the quality of life of individuals and the right to citizenship. This qualitative, descriptive and analytical research aims at analyzing the perception that health professionals of HGP 's Emergency Room have about their departures and their implications for professional practice. Twenty professionals were interviewed in the Emergency Room of the General Hospital of Palmas - TO, from November 2016 to March 2017. As a tool, a semi-structured interview containing fifteen open questions was used, as well as a documentary survey on the removal of professionals in the period of 2014 and 2015, with the objective of describing the main diseases motivating the removals. It is observed that the emergency medical professionals perceive that their distances to health care are related to work factors, as well as, they visualize the difficulties that this separation brings to the service. The results bring us concerns, as they reveal issues that have been studied for several years about worker health. In this sense, it is necessary to review the concept and practice of work, regarding the process in health care, worker health, and especially the health worker, who must be healthy to take care of his health and the health of others. |
