It is understood that this research was carried out due to the need to resort to post-Freudian concepts, considering Freud's brief investigation into the subject of perversion, as well as the lack of studies on clinical practice with this structure. In view of this, we sought to answer the following research problem: What are the specificities of transference management in the perversion clinic? In order to solve this question, the general objective of this research was to investigate transference in the perversion clinic. To this end, a qualitative approach was adopted, guided by the assumptions of Research on Psychoanalysis, following the narrative review method, based on a review of existing scientific literature on digital platforms such as SciElo and PePsic, as well as printed materials. In this way, essential points for understanding the topic were worked on, going through Freud's and Lacan's theorizations on the subject of “Perversion”, as well as working on fundamental points for clinical practice, such as transference and the role of the analyst in the therapeutic process. As this research progressed, it was possible to see that the clinic with perverts is crossed by various aspects and what makes it possible is the presence of the analyst's desire, the desire to listen and analyze, and the challenge in the analytical relationship, both for the analyst and the analysand. A perversão apresenta uma série de desafios para a prática clínica, seja por suas características enquanto estrutura clínica, firmada a partir da denegação, ou pela ineficácia da neutralidade e da associação livre em seu tratamento analítico. Entende-se que essa pesquisa foi realizada em função da necessidade de recorrer à conceitos pós-freudianos, considerando a breve investigação de Freud sobre o tema da perversão, bem como a carência de estudos sobre a própria prática clínica com tal estrutura. Diante disso, procurou-se responder ao seguinte problema de pesquisa: Quais são as especificidades do manejo da transferência na clínica da perversão? Assim, buscando solucionar tal questão, o objetivo geral desta pesquisa foi investigar a transferência na clínica da perversão. Para tanto, adotou-se uma pesquisa de abordagem qualitativa, guiada a partir dos pressupostos da Pesquisa sobre Psicanálise, seguindo o método de revisão narrativa, com base em uma revisão da literatura científica existente em plataformas digitais como SciElo e PePsic, além de materiais impressos. Dessa forma, foram trabalhados pontos essenciais para a compreensão do tema, atravessando as teorizações de Freud e Lacan sobre o assunto “Perversão”, bem como trabalhando pontos fundamentais para uma prática clínica, como a transferência e o papel do analista no processo terapêutico.
