It is clear that Social Service has several fronts of professional activity, but consultancy stands out as an ability to present praxis strategies with skills and competencies, undertaken by a subject or a professional collective with the objective of operationalizing public policies and solving social problems of human needs. Our theoretical and methodological approach occurred through qualitative, theoretical and bibliographical research established by social indicators of social movements, specifically the Landless Movement (MST), and those in the rural territory of Miracema - TO, but we sought to use Marxist methodology such as contradiction, dialectic and totality to understand how this movement with a complex transversal relationship occurs between rural social movements and the Social Service profession. It was noticed that the fight for land and social justice in Brazilian rural areas has been a constant search since Brazilian colonization, reflected today by the actions of social movements, as they play a relevant role in the political, ideological, socio-cultural organization and even socio-pedagogical formation of society. Structurally, in the initial chapter, we worked on concepts and similarities between advisory and consultancy and the relevance of social movements in Brazil, in the following chapters we sought the relationship between Social Services and non-governmental organizations in Brazil and finally, the results addressed the relevance of the MST in Tocantins, between advances and setbacks due to regressive neoliberal and imperialist policies. O presente Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso - TCC teceu reflexões sobre os Movimentos Sociais rurais e sua relação com a assessoria do Serviço Social. Percebe-se que o Serviço Social tem várias frentes de atuação profissional, mas destaca-se a assessoria como uma capacidade de apresentar estratégias da práxis com habilidades e competências, empreendida por um sujeito ou um coletivo profissional com o objetivo de operacionalização das políticas públicas e resolução de problemas sociais das necessidades humanas. Nosso enfoque teórico metodológico ocorreu por meio de uma pesquisa qualitativa, teórica e bibliográfica estabelecido por indicadores sociais dos movimentos sociais, em específico o Movimento sem Terra (MST), e aqueles que estão no território rural de Miracema -TO, mas, buscou se por meio da metodologia marxista como a contradição, a dialética e a totalidade compreender como esse movimento de relação transversal complexa ocorre entre os movimentos sociais rurais e a profissão Serviço Social. Percebeu-se que, a luta pela terra e pela justiça social no meio rural brasileiro tem sido uma busca constante desde a colonização brasileira, refletida na atualidade pela atuação de movimentos sociais, uma vez que desempenham um papel relevante na organização política, ideológica, sócio cultural e até de formação sócio pedagógica da sociedade. Estruturalmente, no capítulo inicial, trabalhamos conceitos e similaridades entre assessoria e consultoria e a relevância dos movimentos sociais no Brasil, nos capítulos seguintes buscou-se a relação entre o Serviço Social e as Organizações não governamentais no Brasil e por fim, abordou-se como resultados a relevância do MST no Tocantins, entre avanços e retrocessos devido as políticas neoliberais e imperialistas regressivas. 2025-04-30T13:14:01Z 2025-04-30T13:14:01Z 2025-04-30 Monografia CAMPOS, Lúcio Silva.
