This research aims in the context of Physical Education, ask: What knowledge and
understanding of the tutors of Physical Education, who teach in the early grades of
elementary school over the Attention deficit disorder with hyperactivity (ADHD)? To
search the literature related to themes, concepts, characteristics and behavioral
profile of people with ADHD are your goals. Officially known as ADHD, and
simultaneously, the significant characteristics are inherent to the disorder in family
contexts, social and school life. This disorder according to DSM-VI affects on
average 3-5% of population education, which is characterized by intense motor skills,
impulsivity and inattention. A fact that causes a significant impact in the context that
the child is inserted, especially when not treated early. The study is characterized as
a literature search and field research, which focuses on methodology developed
instruments such as classroom observations and questionnaire applied at four
schools (public and private) with four teachers / teachers. Given the quantitative and
qualitative data found, can be inferred that, in general, by teachers to have a
reasonable understanding about the issue and observed that the vast majority
presenting training / skills, knowledge of ADHD and methodological procedures
suitable for children with this disorder, however, the schools are lacking, therefore,
mainly public, but not excluding private, has with students from over environments,
motivated, unmotivated teachers, lack of specialists in learning disabilities among
many other structural and organizational problems in the educational institutions
investigated. |
