Resumo:
The research aims to analyze the strategies of religious conversion of young people in the outskirts of the city of Macapá, that is, how the networks of relationships that are created by the institution of the Assembly of God - the pioneer Getsêmani Congregation located in the Perpetual District Relief, thus becoming attractive to a particular audience of young people marked by various stigmas. Thus, through the anthropological ethnographic method, I was able to visit the church and, in this way, to prepare an analysis of how these young people see and think of themselves in the Pentecostal (evangelical) movement. Through data collection, I was able to see their relationships on social networks, the WhatsApp group of the youth department, and the events promoted by youth leaders, how their networks of relationships and their religious identity are shaped. In results, a network of Pentecostal family relationships established in the church and in the neighborhood that dialogue with each other is perceived to be integral. Consequently, many of these young people have familiarity, as well as the formation of emotional networks of protection, as well as the establishment of a symbolicspiritual contract that interchanges within a system of material-emotive giving with the objective of bringing them closer the proposals of Pentecostal institutions and to strengthen interpersonal and sacred relations.
