Since the beginning has remained consistent with the party which presents itself as a real alternative left, denouncing corruption, fighting against the attacks on workers' rights, giving support to social movements. With a decade of existence the PSOL has been growing and highlighting the national political scene, like the Amapá that in the 2010 and 2112 elections amounted to political leadership and came to power by electing a senator (the most voted the state's history) and mayor of the capital. Given this development process and party claim which elements allow the PSOL gain popular strength and thus ascend to political office played in the last elections in Macapa? Thus, the objective of this research is to analyze the rise of PSOL in Amapá political scene. For this, the methodological procedures were: bibliographic research, field research (the party headquarters to visit for information in your file, in order to verify the data relating to the history of the PSOL and application of semistructured interviews with affiliated and unaffiliated , in addition to participate in plenary sessions, conferences and meetings of the party) and processing information. After that, data collection can be said that the factors that led to the rise of PSOL were: the political crisis that passed the state, because of the corruption scheme triggered by the Federal Police called Operation Clean Hands (2010) which took several politicians to jail, in addition to the good performance of its parliamentarians, its constant presence in the social movements and the support of its membership. Finally, the PSOL is a small party nationally, but is growing every election. Amapá the party won victories that brought him to power, but it had to meet with his own ideals change the discourse to suit Amapá political system. O PSOL foi fundado em setembro de 2003, surgiu com a expulsão dos deputados petistas que votaram contra a Reforma da Previdência (2003), obteve seu registro definitivo um ano após sua fundação. Desde início vem se mantendo coerente como partido que se apresenta como uma verdadeira alternativa de esquerda, denunciando casos de corrupção, lutando contra os ataques aos direitos dos trabalhadores, dando apoio aos movimentos sociais. Com uma década de existência o PSOL vem crescendo e se destacando no cenário político nacional, a exemplo do Amapá que nas eleições de 2010 e 2112 ascendeu como liderança política e chegou ao poder elegendo um senador (o mais votado da historia do estado) e o prefeito da capital. Diante desse processo de desenvolvimento e afirmação partidário quais os elementos que permitem ao PSOL ganhar força popular e assim ascender aos cargos políticos disputados nas últimas eleições em Macapá? Dessa forma, o objetivo dessa pesquisa é analisar a ascensão do PSOL no cenário político amapaense. Para isso, os procedimentos metodológicos foram: levantamento bibliográfico, pesquisa de campo (visitas à sede do partido para obter informações em seu arquivo, com o intuito de verificar os dados existentes relativos à historia do PSOL e aplicação de entrevistas semiestruturadas com filiados e não filiados; além de participar das plenárias, congressos e reuniões do partido) e tratamento das informações. Após, a coleta dos dados pode-se afirmar que os fatores que levaram a ascensão do PSOL foram: a crise política pela qual passava o estado, devido ao grande esquema de corrupção deflagrada pela Policia Federal denominada Operação Mãos Limpas (2010) que levou vários políticos para a cadeia, além da boa atuação de seus parlamentares, sua presença constante nos movimentos sociais e o apoio de sua militância. Por fim, o PSOL é um partido pequeno nacionalmente, porém vem crescendo a cada eleição.
